The German Pekin is a European breed of domestic duck. Heavily feathered and with an upright stance these ducks are sadly now seriously endangered.
The Pekin duck is either White or Appleyard with a short orange bill. The body is broad and heavy, standing almost vertical.
Size: Drakes 4kg or Ducks 3.6kg.
Eggs: approx 80 a year.
Conservation Status: Seriously endangered.
