Ross Snow Geese is a tiny white goose with black wingtips and a relatively short neck, and is the smallest of the three ‘white geese’ that breed in North America.
Ross Snow have a short reddish-pink beak with pale tip, the base of the beak has a greenish-grey warty area on the male, and legs and feet are reddish-pink. Both sexes are similar, with the female being 6% smaller than the male.
